These gorgeous images actually represent a crater which was carved by the meteor some long, long time ago. The crater, which is believed to be much larger than it is today, is filled with water and is known as Acraman Lake. The lake can be found in Southern Australia and it’s unquestionably a location you have to see on the Google Maps.
Kiritimati

As part of the republic, you can zoom in on Kiritimati, or better known as Christmas Island. This tiny raised coral atoll is the biggest of its kind in the world and it’s undoubtedly one of the places to be included on our list. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to enter Street View to swim around the corals but you enjoy satellite imagery for hours.
