GDPR
In order to bring you the best experience, we at Google Maps Widget need to collect some information from you, the visitor. Depending on your activity on the website & our blog, different information might be collected.
Short & non-bureaucratic version of the text below
We are not in the business of collecting, storing, processing or reselling your data. That’s simply not what we do. We create and sell WordPress plugins. It’s as simple as that. Therefore we simply have no interest in messing with your data.
If we do have some of your data that’s because you either willingly contacted us, willingly purchased a plugin from us, or we collected some non-identifiable data such as one stored in Google Analytics. In either case, we feel your data is secure and nothing we might have collected can be used to harm you. If you don’t feel the same way email gdpr@webfactoryltd.com.
Contact Form & Email
If you contact us via the contact form or sending us a direct email, we will collect consent-based form entry data which is safely stored in our support software. This information is collected so we can answer your questions more precisely. You may request erasure of this information at any time.
The following information may be collected:
- Name
- Email Address
- IP address
- Any other personal information that you may write in the body of the message
The contact form field requires you to check the box in order to consent to have this website store your submitted information. We will not store any of the provided information; we will only keep the email in our inbox so we can track users’ reactions & requests over time. If you don’t want us to keep your email, please let us know that after the conversation, and we will immediately delete the entire thread.
Purchases
By making a purchase via the Google Maps Widget website, you will have to provide:
- Name
- Email Address
- Credit Card or PayPal info
In addition to that, we will have access to the date of purchase and your license details. This information will be kept in order to provide faster support for the plugin you have purchased.
Payment data is stored for as long as necessary to provide you with the best service possible. If your license is expired or canceled, the data you provided will be kept in our records for our business analysis. It will also help us to get your license reactivated in the future if you decide to do so; we will not use the information provided for any other purpose. Should you wish to erase or modify any information you shared with us during the purchase or support, please contact us anytime.
Guest & Sponsored Posts
In order to qualify for a guest or sponsored post, you will have to contact us via the contact form or directly via email. When paying for a sponsored post, we collect the same information as for the purchase of the plugin. The only difference is that there are no license details that we could keep.
Guest and Sponsored posts contain the information that you provide, or that you have to approve in case we write the article for you. The personal information consists of the author biography information that you have to provide (usually just the name, email address and a few sentences that you have to write about yourself as the author of the article).
Provided information can be edited or deleted upon your request. If you want to change anything, please contact us.
Connected Services
While on our website, your data may be shared with some 3rd party services that we are using:

- Google Analytics
How do we make sure that your personal data is secure?
We take data security extremely seriously and always take care that it’s stored safely:
